Madonna’s LoRokka Games 2026 Updates!

🌟 Welcome back, IADS Nerds! We hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season and a wonderful start to New Year 2026. We are incredibly grateful for every single person we rolled dice with during 2025, and for every single purchase from our website, Amazon, and our retail partners!
🎲 Looking back at LoRokka Games’ progress throughout 2025:
- We grew from a print-on-demand only product to creating a commercial stock with Delano Games for the Base Game and our first Expansion Set, Advanced Capabilities.
- We are in the very final stage immediately before giving the thumbs up to mass print our second Expansion Set, Alternate Art, as well! (Gigantic shout outs to Mellissa and Sara for guiding us through this entire commercial journey!)
- We expanded our retail partnerships from the three hometown Honolulu stores to include five more throughout the DMV/Baltimore area.
- We were featured in the Kawaii Kon Honolulu Tabletop Room in April, at Connections Wargaming Conference in July, and at several other conventions/board gaming events from HMGS’s annual Historicon to the Fall Session of Tabletop Oahu to Labyrinth DC’s monthly Wargaming Wednesday.
- We launched our products on Amazon! The Adv. Capes is also carried in our LoRokka Games Amazon store, and soon the Alt. Art will be available there as well.
- We also launched this, what you’re currently reading – IADS: The Blog! This blog has been an invaluable outlet for both of us! Ric finally has a centralized place to house all his current events and strategic musings with our IADS pieces and mechanics as the lens through which he articulates those thoughts. While I’m not as frequently flying into your mailbox, I’ve really enjoying using this blog as a digital scrapbook of all our LoRokka Games milestones and highlights.
🔥🐎 What’s Coming in 2026?
- We just demoed IADS: The Game at the Congress of Gamers Winter Session last weekend, which was a blast! I mentioned on the GUWS post that one of our VULs there effectively employed the mechanic: Low Observable Mission Planning from the new CAO Sep 2025 Advanced Capabilities Expansion Set!
- Tomorrow, we’ll be at the Your Hobby Place Winter Bash! Weather permitting, we’ll see you all there Sunday as well!
- We hope to be back in the Kawaii Kon Tabletop Room this upcoming April and at the Connections conference in June. Please stay tuned to our socials for updates.
- We’ll be featured in a GUWS session this spring, possibly running a tournament! Again, stay tuned for more details as we get closer.
- We strive to hear all player feedback and suggestions, most of which are promptly added to the House Rules living document. We also update the Rules of Engagement occasionally, which is always available as a free pdf download.
All of my favorite LoRokka Games memories from 2025 revolve around building this community of IADS Nerds. Whether it was running several consecutive days of demos with our IADS Instructor — shout-out, Seth! — figuring out the logistics of commercial printing, warehousing, and fulfillment, or meeting dozens of new players-quickly-turned-aerial-combat-tacticians, I’ve enjoyed every minute of bringing Ric’s creation to your tabletop.
